This month we share another webinar excerpt on Oral Health – this time on Dental Trauma. This is Part 2 of a 3 part series with Dr Ioan Jones, senior clinician and clinical educator with the Oral Health Services in Tasmania. Ioan is passionate about educating general practitioners about Oral Disease, as he fully appreciates the high number of presentations that are diverted to general practice due to various barriers in accessing dental care. Ioan promotes upskilling of general practitioners to enable them to cope with these presentations, and put “the mouth back in the body”.

RVTS registrars have a practical session on managing Dental Trauma during the workshop programme. It’s worth asking your RTO to arrange a practical session if they don’t already do so, as these are very handy skills to have.
